Total Quality Disability Care – Taxi Booking Service

Welcome to Total Quality Disability Care (TQDC), providing accessible taxi services for individuals with disabilities. By using our taxi booking service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking any services.


1. General Information

2. Booking and Availability

2.1 Booking in Advance: All taxi bookings require a minimum of 1 day in advance to ensure availability.
2.2 Booking Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent to the customer once a booking request is made. Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until you receive this email.
2.3 Minimum Booking Duration: A minimum of 4 hours per trip is required, regardless of the travel duration.
2.4 Booking Information: You are required to provide accurate details regarding the booking, including the number of passengers, wheelchair requirements, and any special needs.


3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Pricing: Pricing for taxi services will be calculated based on the time of travel. A minimum charge of 4 hours applies to all bookings.
3.2 Upfront Payment: Full payment must be made through our secure payment system before the booking is confirmed.
3.3 Payment Methods: We accept payment through PayPal, Stripe, Credit/Debit Cards, or Bank Transfers.
3.4 Fare Calculation: The total fare will be calculated based on the booking details provided, including any additional services requested (e.g., child seat, extra baggage).
3.5 Refunds: We offer no refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled booking. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, a 50% refund will be provided.


4. Vehicle and Accessibility

4.1 Vehicle Details: Our fleet includes 6-seater vans equipped with 300kg Q’Straint hoists for wheelchair accessibility. The vehicles are spacious and designed for individuals with disabilities.
4.2 Seating Capacity: Each vehicle has a seating capacity of up to 6 passengers.
4.3 Special Requests: You may request additional services, such as a child seat or assistance from a support worker, at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply.


5. Customer Responsibilities

5.1 Accurate Information: You must provide accurate details when booking your taxi service. This includes your contact details, trip information, and special requirements (e.g., wheelchair, support worker).
5.2 Behaviour: Customers are expected to behave in a respectful manner during the ride. TQDC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone behaving aggressively or disruptively.
5.3 Cancellations: To cancel or modify your booking, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled trip. Failure to do so may result in a charge of 50% of the total fare.
5.4 Late Pickup: If you are not present at the pickup location at the scheduled time, the driver will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes. After that, the booking may be cancelled, and you may incur a cancellation fee.


6. Liability and Disclaimers

6.1 Limitation of Liability: TQDC is not responsible for any delays, accidents, or damages occurring during the trip, except in cases of negligence or failure to provide the service as agreed upon.
6.2 Force Majeure: TQDC is not liable for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, traffic delays, or government restrictions.
6.3 Damage to Property: Passengers are responsible for any damage to the vehicle caused by themselves or their belongings during the trip.


7. Privacy Policy

7.1 Data Protection: We take the privacy of our customers seriously. Personal information, including your contact details and payment information, is collected only for the purpose of providing our services.
7.2 Third-Party Services: We may use third-party services such as payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe) to process transactions. These services are governed by their own privacy policies.
7.3 Use of Data: By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.


8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
